Order Minimum

Minimum order pricing

Each Poplin order is subject to a minimum charge, which varies by service type and location.

In many areas, minimums start around:

• Standard (next-day): $30 USD or CA$40
• Express (same-day or overnight, where available): $40 USD or CA$50

In some locations, minimums may be higher. You’ll always see your exact minimum, price per pound, and any applicable fees before placing your order.

Before placing your order, the app will show an estimated total cost based on the number of bags you plan to send. This estimate is usually close, but your final total is determined by the actual weight of your laundry, and charged once your Laundry Pro has completed weighing your order in the app.

How minimums are applied

Your total is calculated based on the weight of your laundry, plus any applicable item pricing and fees.

If the cost of your laundry based on weight is below the minimum charge for your selected service, you’ll be charged the minimum. If it exceeds the minimum, you’ll be charged based on the actual weight of your laundry, plus any applicable item pricing and fees.

Oversized Items

Items which require a wash and dry cycle solely to themselves are an extra $8 per item (that's in addition to the cost per pound). "Oversized Items" are included in your total and count toward reaching the minimum.

Examples:

• Below the minimum:
  If your Standard service has a $30 USD (or CA$40) minimum and a $1/lb (or CA$1.60/lb) rate, an order weighing 20 pounds would total $20 USD (or CA$32), plus any applicable fees. Since this is below the minimum, you would be charged the $30 USD (or CA$40) minimum, plus any applicable fees.
• Above the minimum:
  Using the same pricing, an order weighing 35 pounds would total $35 USD (or CA$56), plus any applicable fees. Since this exceeds the minimum, you would be charged the full calculated amount, plus any applicable fees.
