Selecting a Preferred Laundry Pro

How do I request a Preferred Laundry Pro?

When placing an order, you can designate and prioritize “Preferred Laundry Pros” from those you’ve worked with before. "Preferred" status applies only to the Pros you select for that specific order.

How does it work?

You can select up to five Preferred Laundry Pros, and rank them in order of priority (top of the list is notified first, and so on). Your #1 Preferred Laundry Pro gets exclusive access to your order for 60 minutes, and after that, each sequential Preferred Laundry Pro will be notified and have their own 10 minute window to accept your order. Once notified, Laundry Pros will have access to the order until it is accepted.

If all your Preferred Laundry Pros are notified, but have not accepted your order within the allotted time, we will notify highly ranked Laundry Pros in the area until the order is accepted.

Is it guaranteed?

Designating Preferred Laundry Pros dramatically increases the likelihood that you'll be assigned one of your Preferred Laundry Pros, but because Laundry Pro's work load and schedules vary it is not a guarantee. 

What happens if my Preferred Laundry Pro is unavailable?

If none of your preferred Laundry Pros are available, we will assign your order to the highest rated, next-available Laundry Pro. Don't worry, all Poplin's Laundry Pros are vetted, and utilize best practices. Your new Laundry Pro will make sure to take extra care for your laundry, and you might just find your new favorite Laundry Pro! 

Will I be notified if my Preferred Laundry Pro is unavailable? 

If your preferred Laundry Pro sees your request but is unavailable to take your order, they may send you a short message sharing why they are unavailable. However, sometimes if they are unavailable it also means they are offline. As soon as your order is assigned to a new Laundry Pro, you will receive a welcome message from them.

It's my first order, can I request a Preferred Laundry Pro?

You cannot choose a Preferred Laundry Pro if it's your first order unless you have been recommended a Laundry Pro via a referral from a current customer or Laundry Pro.
