Laundry Pros are independent professionals in your community who provide laundry service through Poplin. 

Many Laundry Pros are stay-at-home parents, retirees, and families who've turned their laundry room into a small business. For them, Poplin income goes toward real things — school loans, summer camps, medical bills, family trips. When you place an order, you're supporting someone in your own community.

Where your laundry is done

Your laundry is usually done in your Laundry Pro's home, using their residential washer and dryer — the same kind of machines you'd use yourself. As independent contractors using the Poplin platform, however, they can choose to complete it at a laundromat as well. 

Your laundry is always washed as its own separate load, never mixed with another customer's laundry.

Your order is managed by your assigned Laundry Pro from start to finish, giving you peace of mind that your clothes are cared for by an identity-verified, background-cleared local Pro.

Can I see who my Laundry Pro is? Yes. Once your order is accepted, you'll see your Laundry Pro's name in the app, and you can communicate with them directly about your order. In most cases you'll also be able to see your Laundry Pro's profile — where they'll share about what motivates them and why they love being your Laundry Pro!

Are Laundry Pros background-checked? Yes. Every Laundry Pro undergoes a comprehensive background check and identity verification process before accepting orders on the platform.

Will my clothes ever be mixed with another customer's clothes? Never. Your laundry is kept completely separate and processed as its own individual load from pickup to delivery.

What if I'm not happy with how my laundry was done? You can rate your Laundry Pro after every order, anonymously if you wish, and Poplin's Concierge team is available to help make things right.
