How are Pickup and Delivery Deadlines Determined?

Poplin offers both Standard and Express service, each with different turnaround times depending on when you place your order.

The timelines below reflect our standard pickup and delivery schedule, based on when your order is placed and the service speed selected.

Need extra specific timing?

Poplin offers a couple of additional options:

• Pickup & Delivery Windows: In most areas, you can choose more specific pickup and delivery time windows during checkout for a small fee.

• Scheduled Orders: You can also schedule your order in advance. These follow the same timing structure as on-demand orders, based on the service you select.

Standard service

Standard service is designed for reliable, next-day turnaround.

Orders placed before 3 PM are typically picked up by 8 PM that day and delivered by 8 PM the following day.

Orders placed after 3 PM are typically picked up by 8 PM the next day and delivered by 8 PM the day after that.

In many cases, pickup and delivery happen earlier than these deadlines—but the times above are the latest you should expect.

Sometimes larger orders (over 100 pounds) require an extra day to complete service. If your Laundry Pro requests it, we'll extend your delivery deadline by 24 hours, send you a notification about the change, and you'll see the updated deadline in your Poplin app. 

Express service

Express service offers faster turnaround, with timing based on when your order is placed:

Before 10 AM: Pickup by 2 PM, delivery by 8 PM the same day

10 AM – 3 PM: Pickup by 8 PM the same day, delivery by 10 AM the following morning

After 3 PM: Pickup by 2 PM the next day, delivery by 8 PM that evening

Express service is designed for smaller loads (60 pounds or less) and does not support hang-dry items. Orders that exceed these limits may be adjusted to Standard service, with updated pricing and delivery timing.

After you place your order

Once your order is accepted, your Laundry Pro will message you with an estimated pickup time. Pickup usually happens within a few hours. You can also message them anytime to coordinate details or ask questions.

A note on flexibility

In some locations, you may see multiple Standard deadline options during checkout (for example, different evening delivery cutoffs). When available, you can choose the option that works best for your schedule.
