Applying a Promo Code or Gift Card

You can apply a promo code or gift card during the final step of the checkout process. Right before you place your order, on the “Review Order” screen, you’ll see options to redeem a code.

Applying a Promo Code

Once you apply a promo code, the app will instantly check if your order is eligible. Keep in mind that promotional offers often have specific restrictions, such as:

• Your account status: Some codes are only for first-time customers, while others are for returning customers.

• The date: Many codes are only valid during a specific timeframe or holiday window.

• The order type: A discount might only apply to Standard orders, or specifically to Express orders, or orders of a certain size, etc.

Please type or paste your code carefully. Promo codes must match exactly to work—ensure there are no extra spaces at the beginning or end, make sure to capitalize letters if the code is capitalized, and be careful not to mistake the letter "O" for the number zero "0".

If a code doesn't apply to your order, the app will notify you right away. If it's valid, the app will show that it was successfully applied, and you will see your discount reflected on your order summary.

Please note that promotional discounts only apply toward your Laundry total (charges based on weight, add-on services, and any oversized items). Separate line items—such as tips for your Laundry Pro, possible surge charges, or optional Protection Plan upgrades—are not eligible for promotional discounts.

 

Redeeming a Poplin Gift Card

You can redeem a Poplin gift card in the exact same spot on the checkout screen. When you enter a gift card code, the entire balance is instantly added to your Poplin account as account credits.

Here's how account credits work when you place an order:

• What Credits Cover: Poplin will always automatically pull from your available account credits first to cover your order costs. Credits can pay for your entire order, including laundry charges, special fees, and Protection Plan upgrades.

• The One Exception (Tips): Tips for your Laundry Pro cannot be paid with account credits. Tips are added after your order is delivered when you rate the service in the app, and they must always come from your primary payment method.

• Payment Card Required: Even if you have enough account credits to cover your estimated order total, you must still keep a valid payment card on file. This ensures that if your final laundry weight brings the total cost above your available credits, the remaining difference can be smoothly charged to your card.

• No Expiration: Poplin gift cards and account credits never expire. If your credit balance is higher than your final order cost, any leftover credits will remain safely in your account, ready to be automatically applied to your future orders until they run out.
